# Spherualizer vs Kopter

The clearest difference is price: Kopter at Free against Spherualizer's $9.99. Kopter also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 69%). Spherualizer's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On update cadence, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Kopter is free to download; Spherualizer costs $9.99 up front. Kopter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Spherualizer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spherualizer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spherualizer has 100 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Spherualizer's written reviews are positive against 94% of Kopter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spherualizer ships an update monthly, Kopter every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
