# Padlet vs SMART InkScan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SMART InkScan at 100% against Padlet's 61%. SMART InkScan also leads on iOS requirement (10.3 vs 16.4). Padlet's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (6.9K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Padlet sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SMART InkScan sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Padlet holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Padlet has 6.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Padlet's written reviews are positive against 100% of SMART InkScan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
