# iSmartViewPro vs Live DV

The clearest difference is rating: Live DV at 2.0 against iSmartViewPro's 1.8. iSmartViewPro's advantage is ratings volume (795 vs 139) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Live DV holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iSmartViewPro has 795 ratings behind it against 139, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of iSmartViewPro's written reviews are positive against 15% of Live DV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iSmartViewPro ships an update every 2 months, Live DV every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
