# SandCam vs SliceTimeCam

The clearest difference is update cadence: SliceTimeCam at weekly against SandCam's every 2 months. SandCam's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SandCam sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and SliceTimeCam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SandCam ships an update every 2 months, SliceTimeCam weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
