# Gazoop vs Mattermost

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gazoop at 100% against Mattermost's 38%. Gazoop also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). Mattermost's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mattermost holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mattermost has 5.6K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Gazoop's written reviews are positive against 38% of Mattermost's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gazoop ships an update every 7 months, Mattermost every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
