# Clearstream vs Via Events Navigator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Clearstream at every 2 weeks against Via Events Navigator's every 4 months. Clearstream also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 1). Via Events Navigator's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Clearstream against 5.0 for Via Events Navigator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clearstream has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Clearstream ships an update every 2 weeks, Via Events Navigator every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
