# FreedomPop vs LinkMeBDA

The clearest difference is rating: LinkMeBDA at 4.3 against FreedomPop's 3.3. FreedomPop's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LinkMeBDA holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FreedomPop has 1.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FreedomPop ships an update every 3 months, LinkMeBDA every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
