# Easy Notes Lite vs Notepad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Easy Notes Lite at fortnightly against Notepad's every 6 weeks. Easy Notes Lite also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Notes Lite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Notepad sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Easy Notes Lite ships an update fortnightly, Notepad every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
