# e vs ECI MobileTech

The clearest difference is update cadence: ECI MobileTech at every 6 weeks against e's every 5 months. ECI MobileTech also leads on ratings volume (80 vs 12) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

e holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ECI MobileTech has 80 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of e's written reviews are positive against 41% of ECI MobileTech's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

e ships an update every 5 months, ECI MobileTech every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
