# VideoPad vs Vlogit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vlogit at every 3 weeks against VideoPad's every 5 months. Vlogit also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). VideoPad's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.5). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VideoPad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Vlogit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VideoPad holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 426 and 325 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of VideoPad's written reviews are positive against 33% of Vlogit's.

VideoPad ships an update every 5 months, Vlogit every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
