# KMPlayer vs FlixHub

The clearest difference is update cadence: KMPlayer at every 9 days against FlixHub's every 29 months. KMPlayer also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for KMPlayer against 4.2 for FlixHub. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KMPlayer has 3.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 66% and 67% positive.

KMPlayer ships an update every 9 days, FlixHub every 29 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
