# KMPlayer vs Kalimba Tabs

The clearest difference is rating: Kalimba Tabs at 5.0 against KMPlayer's 4.3. Kalimba Tabs also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). KMPlayer's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
