# LV vs Seashine

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LV at none against Seashine's 6. LV also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). Seashine's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seashine sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. LV asks for nothing beyond the download.

LV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seashine has 4.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of LV's written reviews are positive against 94% of Seashine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LV ships an update every 5 weeks, Seashine monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
