# Classic Tractor vs Performance VW

The clearest difference is rating: Performance VW at 4.9 against Classic Tractor's 4.7. Performance VW also leads on ratings volume (35 vs 3) and update cadence (every 13 months vs every 31 months). Classic Tractor's advantage is iOS requirement (11.2 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classic Tractor sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Performance VW sells 35 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Performance VW holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Performance VW has 35 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Classic Tractor ships an update every 31 months, Performance VW every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
