# Payroll by Nethris vs Personal Protective App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Personal Protective App at 50% against Payroll by Nethris's 1%. Personal Protective App also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 3). Payroll by Nethris's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 2.9) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Payroll by Nethris holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Personal Protective App has 26 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 1% of Payroll by Nethris's written reviews are positive against 50% of Personal Protective App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
