# Robo Runner vs Spinny Fidget

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Robo Runner at none against Spinny Fidget's 1. Spinny Fidget's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 28 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spinny Fidget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Robo Runner asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spinny Fidget holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spinny Fidget has 140 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Robo Runner's written reviews are positive against 59% of Spinny Fidget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Robo Runner ships an update every 28 months, Spinny Fidget every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
