# LogTen Pilot Logbook vs Following

The clearest difference is rating: LogTen Pilot Logbook at 4.7 against Following's 4.0. LogTen Pilot Logbook also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 6) and chart position (#90 vs unranked). Following's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and review sentiment (50% vs 35%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LogTen Pilot Logbook sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Following asks for nothing beyond the download.

LogTen Pilot Logbook holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LogTen Pilot Logbook has 10K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of LogTen Pilot Logbook's written reviews are positive against 50% of Following's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LogTen Pilot Logbook ships an update every 9 days, Following weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
