# iShook vs AuthorAZ

The clearest difference is update cadence: AuthorAZ at every 2 weeks against iShook's every 2 months. iShook's advantage is iOS requirement (8.1 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iShook sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and AuthorAZ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iShook ships an update every 2 months, AuthorAZ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
