# Phont vs Fonts

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Phont at 46% against Fonts's 0%. Fonts's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phont sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Fonts asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fonts holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Phont's written reviews are positive against 0% of Fonts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Phont ships an update every 9 months, Fonts every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on September 30, 2026.
