# Inner Circle vs Excellence

The clearest difference is rating: Inner Circle at 4.3 against Excellence's 1.0. Inner Circle also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (10K vs 1). Excellence's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inner Circle sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Excellence asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inner Circle holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inner Circle has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Inner Circle ships an update every 10 days, Excellence every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
