# Trimble InSphere vs SitePREP®

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trimble InSphere at none against SitePREP®'s 1. Trimble InSphere also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 14.0). SitePREP®'s advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SitePREP® sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $349.99 per year. Trimble InSphere asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Trimble InSphere against 4.9 for SitePREP®. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SitePREP® has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
