# Blue Map vs 看天

The clearest difference is rating: Blue Map at 5.0 against 看天's 4.0. Blue Map also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). 看天's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 64%) and ratings volume (17 vs 2). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 看天 sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Blue Map asks for nothing beyond the download.

Blue Map holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 看天 has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Blue Map's written reviews are positive against 79% of 看天's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blue Map ships an update every 2 weeks, 看天 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
