# Thorntons Refreshing Rewards vs FunRewards

The clearest difference is rating: Thorntons Refreshing Rewards at 2.7 against FunRewards's 2.1. Thorntons Refreshing Rewards also leads on ratings volume (365 vs 12). FunRewards's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Thorntons Refreshing Rewards holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thorntons Refreshing Rewards has 365 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Thorntons Refreshing Rewards's written reviews are positive against 13% of FunRewards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
