# Prêt à Template vs ShadowDraw

Prêt à Template and ShadowDraw both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 59% of ShadowDraw's written reviews are positive against 24% of Prêt à Template's. ShadowDraw also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). Prêt à Template's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prêt à Template sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $13.90 per month and ShadowDraw sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Prêt à Template against 4.2 for ShadowDraw. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prêt à Template has 13K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 24% of Prêt à Template's written reviews are positive against 59% of ShadowDraw's.

Prêt à Template ships an update weekly, ShadowDraw every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
