# Stepz vs Forever

The clearest difference is rating: Forever at 5.0 against Stepz's 4.5. Forever also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). Stepz's advantage is ratings volume (33K vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stepz sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Forever asks for nothing beyond the download.

Forever holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stepz has 33K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
