# Stepz vs Step Counter Plus

The clearest difference is monetization model: Step Counter Plus at free with in-app purchases against Stepz's subscription. Step Counter Plus also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). Stepz's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stepz sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Step Counter Plus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
