# Fast Canfield vs Solitaire Nova

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fast Canfield at 70% against Solitaire Nova's 26%. Fast Canfield also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Solitaire Nova's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (7.7K vs 89). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire Nova sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Fast Canfield asks for nothing beyond the download.

Solitaire Nova holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire Nova has 7.7K ratings behind it against 89, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Fast Canfield's written reviews are positive against 26% of Solitaire Nova's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fast Canfield ships an update monthly, Solitaire Nova fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
