# Hespress vs My Intelcia

Hespress and My Intelcia both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 71% of Hespress's written reviews are positive against 19% of My Intelcia's. Hespress also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 210) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 weeks). My Intelcia's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hespress holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hespress has 3K ratings behind it against 210, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Hespress's written reviews are positive against 19% of My Intelcia's.

Hespress ships an update every 10 days, My Intelcia every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
