# Everfocus SideKick vs AXIS Installer

The clearest difference is rating: Everfocus SideKick at 2.7 against AXIS Installer's 1.8. Everfocus SideKick also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 18.0). AXIS Installer's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Everfocus SideKick holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Everfocus SideKick's written reviews are positive against 25% of AXIS Installer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Everfocus SideKick ships an update every 7 months, AXIS Installer monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
