# Rules! vs Cylinders

The clearest difference is price: Cylinders at Free against Rules!'s $2.99. Cylinders also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 67) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.2). Rules!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (71% vs 58%). On rating, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Cylinders is free to download; Rules! costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Rules! against 4.2 for Cylinders. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cylinders has 1.3K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two.
