# Arccos Golf vs aG Locker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: aG Locker at none against Arccos Golf's 2. aG Locker also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Arccos Golf's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (33K vs 2.7K). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arccos Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $199.99 per year. aG Locker asks for nothing beyond the download.

aG Locker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arccos Golf has 33K ratings behind it against 2.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Arccos Golf's written reviews are positive against 31% of aG Locker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Arccos Golf ships an update every 2 weeks, aG Locker every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
