# Arccos Golf vs Side Game Golf

The clearest difference is rating: Side Game Golf at 5.0 against Arccos Golf's 4.6. Side Game Golf also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Arccos Golf's advantage is ratings volume (33K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arccos Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $199.99 per year and Side Game Golf sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Side Game Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arccos Golf has 33K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Arccos Golf ships an update every 2 weeks, Side Game Golf every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
