# CloudConvert vs HappyScribe

The clearest difference is rating: HappyScribe at 4.5 against CloudConvert's 4.0. HappyScribe also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). CloudConvert's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 50%) and ratings volume (103 vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HappyScribe holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudConvert has 103 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of CloudConvert's written reviews are positive against 50% of HappyScribe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CloudConvert ships an update every 3 weeks, HappyScribe fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
