# CloudConvert vs Fish

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CloudConvert at 75% against Fish's 30%. CloudConvert also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6). Fish's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fish sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. CloudConvert asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fish holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 99 and 315 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of CloudConvert's written reviews are positive against 30% of Fish's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CloudConvert ships an update every 3 weeks, Fish every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
