# Prime Print vs mazec

The clearest difference is rating: mazec at 5.0 against Prime Print's 4.5. mazec also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). Prime Print's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and price ($2.99 vs $8.99). On update cadence, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Prime Print costs $2.99 and mazec $8.99 up front. mazec sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Prime Print asks for nothing beyond the download.

mazec holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prime Print has 96 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Prime Print's written reviews are positive against 36% of mazec's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
