# SlowMo vs XPlayer

The clearest difference is rating: SlowMo at 4.6 against XPlayer's 1.9. SlowMo also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 26%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SlowMo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and XPlayer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
