# Checkers Mobile vs Checkers `

The clearest difference is rating: Checkers Mobile at 4.3 against Checkers `'s 3.4. Checkers `'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 9 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checkers Mobile sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Checkers ` asks for nothing beyond the download.

Checkers Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 135 and 79 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Checkers Mobile's written reviews are positive against 62% of Checkers `'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Checkers Mobile ships an update every 9 months, Checkers ` every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
