# ScheduleAnywhere vs CrewAssign

The clearest difference is rating: CrewAssign at 5.0 against ScheduleAnywhere's 2.2. CrewAssign also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). ScheduleAnywhere's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CrewAssign holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScheduleAnywhere has 49 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ScheduleAnywhere ships an update every 2 weeks, CrewAssign every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
