# Bog Racer vs Stellar!

The clearest difference is rating: Bog Racer at 3.9 against Stellar!'s 2.2. Bog Racer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). Stellar!'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 43 months) and review sentiment (83% vs 63%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stellar! sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Bog Racer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bog Racer holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bog Racer has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Bog Racer's written reviews are positive against 83% of Stellar!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bog Racer ships an update every 43 months, Stellar! every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
