# Brain Wars vs Dual N

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dual N at fortnightly against Brain Wars's every 6 weeks. Brain Wars's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 51%) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 376). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Wars sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Dual N sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Brain Wars against 4.6 for Dual N. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain Wars has 2.5K ratings behind it against 376, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Brain Wars's written reviews are positive against 51% of Dual N's.

Brain Wars ships an update every 6 weeks, Dual N fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
