# LloydsCam vs Viewing Platform

The clearest difference is update cadence: Viewing Platform at every 2 months against LloydsCam's every 26 months. LloydsCam's advantage is iOS requirement (6.1 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LloydsCam ships an update every 26 months, Viewing Platform every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
