# TestMasters vs PrepFE

The clearest difference is rating: PrepFE at 2.0 against TestMasters's 1.5. PrepFE also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (57 vs 2). TestMasters's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and review sentiment (29% vs 17%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepFE sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. TestMasters asks for nothing beyond the download.

PrepFE holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrepFE has 57 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of TestMasters's written reviews are positive against 17% of PrepFE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TestMasters ships an update every 8 months, PrepFE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and August 30, 2026 respectively.
