# TestMasters vs x2VOL_

The clearest difference is rating: x2VOL_ at 4.2 against TestMasters's 1.5. x2VOL_ also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). TestMasters's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 15%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

x2VOL_ holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: x2VOL_ has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of TestMasters's written reviews are positive against 15% of x2VOL_'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TestMasters ships an update every 8 months, x2VOL_ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
