# PRY vs SoundEcho

The clearest difference is price: SoundEcho at Free against PRY's $2.99. SoundEcho also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%). PRY's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

SoundEcho is free to download; PRY costs $2.99 up front. SoundEcho sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PRY asks for nothing beyond the download.

PRY holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRY has 33 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of PRY's written reviews are positive against 100% of SoundEcho's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PRY ships an update every 6 weeks, SoundEcho every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
