# TreasureHunter3D vs PlayNow

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PlayNow at 88% against TreasureHunter3D's 22%. PlayNow also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). TreasureHunter3D's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 1.0) and iOS requirement (9.1 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TreasureHunter3D holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of TreasureHunter3D's written reviews are positive against 88% of PlayNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TreasureHunter3D ships an update every 11 months, PlayNow every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
