# Sewer Rat vs Blockfest Puzzle

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sewer Rat at none against Blockfest Puzzle's 10. Sewer Rat also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 71%). Blockfest Puzzle's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 3) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blockfest Puzzle sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Sewer Rat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Blockfest Puzzle holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blockfest Puzzle has 3.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Sewer Rat's written reviews are positive against 71% of Blockfest Puzzle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sewer Rat ships an update every 9 days, Blockfest Puzzle every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
