# Sewer Rat vs Crazy Story

The clearest difference is ads: Sewer Rat at none against Crazy Story's shown. Sewer Rat also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 60%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Crazy Story's advantage is ratings volume (140 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Crazy Story holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crazy Story has 140 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Sewer Rat's written reviews are positive against 60% of Crazy Story's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sewer Rat ships an update every 9 days, Crazy Story every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
