# Visited vs Mapsprink

The clearest difference is ads: Mapsprink at none against Visited's shown. Mapsprink also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Visited's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 2) and chart position (#189 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Visited sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Mapsprink sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mapsprink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visited has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Visited's written reviews are positive against 50% of Mapsprink's.

Visited ships an update monthly, Mapsprink every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
