# Timester vs Kinectin

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kinectin at every 3 days against Timester's every 3 months. Timester's advantage is ratings volume (290 vs 13) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timester sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kinectin sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timester holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timester has 290 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Timester's written reviews are positive against 88% of Kinectin's.

Timester ships an update every 3 months, Kinectin every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
