# いれかえるクロスワード vs Merge Plus

The clearest difference is rating: Merge Plus at 4.6 against いれかえるクロスワード's 4.0. Merge Plus also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 1). いれかえるクロスワード's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 35%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. いれかえるクロスワード sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Merge Plus sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Merge Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Merge Plus has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of いれかえるクロスワード's written reviews are positive against 35% of Merge Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

いれかえるクロスワード ships an update every 2 months, Merge Plus monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
